Where can I download the 8Share Broadcasters app?
You can download the app for free from the iTunes Store or by searching for "SAYS Broadcasters" on the App Store on your iPhone.
Why does iTunes ask me for credit card details when trying to download the free 8Share Broadcasters app?
This is Apple's way of making it easier for you to purchase apps in the future. However, you can set up an iTunes account without entering in your credit card details so that you can download the free 8Share Broadcasters app. Please view Apple's support page.
What are the requirements to download and install the app?
The app is compatible with the following iPhones and iPods:
- iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5
- iPod touch (3rd, 4th and 5th generation)
Requires iOS 6.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
What can I do with the app?
You can do the following:
- Share directly via Facebook, Twitter, SMS, iMessage and email
- Copy your unique URL to any app and share (for example, Whatsapp)
- Check your earnings
- Get notified of new Speicals
- Get notified when your cash out is complete
Why can't I see Facebook when sharing a Special?
You have to first connect your Facebook account to iOS 6. This is how:
- Tap on "Settings"
- Scroll down until you see "Facebook" and tap on it
- Enter your "User Name" and "Password" in the fields provided
- Tap "Sign In"
Now you can go back to the 8Share Broadcasters app, select a Special and tap on the "Broadcast this to your friends" button. You should now be able to see the Facebook option.
Why can't I see Twitter when sharing a Special?
You have to first connect your Twitter account to iOS 6. This is how:
- Tap on "Settings"
- Scroll down until you see "Twitter" and tap on it
- Enter your "User Name" and "Password" in the fields provided
- Tap "Sign In"
Now you can go back to the 8Share Broadcasters app, select a Special and tap on the "Broadcast this to your friends" button. You should now be able to see the Twitter option.
How can I turn on/off app notifications?
All settings for the app can be turned on or off by tapping the cogwheel on the top-right hand corner of the Dashboard. Select "ON" or "OFF" for each type of notification.
How can I log out of my account?
You can log out of your account by going to your settings by tapping the cogwheel on the top-right hand corner of the Dashboard. Then tapping "Log out" at the bottom of the page.
